Inspiration for the A2Z March Challenge

Well after a week of sick kids, teething and little sleep I finished my inspiration for the March A2Z theme challenge....which is SUMMER. Here is my take:

This is my oldest girl digging for shells on a beach. Not the best photo in the world but I love it. Now I was going for a bright summer feel but it just didn't work. But these colours did.

The close ups:

I just LOVE this fence and went soooo well with a beach theme layout. I used the new Tim Holtzs Distress Paint, the Distress Ink and then a little Glimmer Mist. The Crab I used Viva Inka-Gold, Lava Red. You rub it on the surface. It has a boot polish feel. Both the fence and crab are from A2Z Scraplets.

The title, also from A2Z, came in one piece but I cut it up to put around the photo. I used gesso then painted it with a mix of Kasiercraft paint to get the colour I wanted. You can also see the Micro Seed Beads I used under the crab.

I used a Inkadinkao Beach Theme Stamp set, Kasiercraft Die Cut, shells, Micro Beads and Handmade Halo Key Charm. The template is Crafters Workshop and I used Texture Paste, Kasiercraft Paint and before I lifted it off I sprayed a little Glimmer Mist.

Another Handmade Halo charm and Dolly.

So if you want to enter the challenge all you need to do is a summer theme layout. It can have summer photos or summer colours or both!!! And if you have no A2Z Scraplets you can still enter, but, of course, if you do we would love to see how you use them. The challenge ends on the 31st of March, Queensland, Australian time. We had 13 entries last month would love to see that many again. Head HERE to enter.

Thanks for looking

Belinda
