Few layouts and reminder of GIVEAWAY!!!

After a few days of Internet issues I am back. Not much has been happening as I have been making 2 Kaisercraft OTP Tractors for 2 of my nephews. I do have a few layouts to show.

This has to be one of my all time favs. I did this for Scrapbooking In Geraldton Challenge site on facebook. You had to do a layout white with one colour. I choose red. It was not til I had finished that I realises that the flowers had green leaves and the brads on the ladybug had silver. Oh well I still love it.
I used a dot mask for the background and misted it with glimmer mist. The chipboard I painted red and edged with brown ink. The ladybug I am very proud of. Its an Scrap FX Ladybug. The body and wings are separate. I painted the body white and the wings red. When dried I glued them together. the I choose 8 brads, cut the backs off and glued in the holes on the wings. The glue I used was Glossy Accents. After it was all dried I glued the bug onto the layout. It looks soooooo cute :)

This layout turned out better then I had planned. Its of Iona when she was walking really well. All chipboard is of dusty attic. the fence behind the photo does not go all the way. I cut the middle out and used on another layout (which will be shown next)

This one was my first time EVER using washi tape. I used it very basically, just across the page, but I think it turned out ok. And you can see the left over fence behind the photo. Again I cut in so I can get the most out of it.

And last of all a reminder that I still have a giveaway going on. I have a few people join but no where near the 50. So please keep passing on. There will be a giveaway for 3 weeks. Each pack will have rub-ons, stamps, ink, chipboard, ribbon and brads.

Now for the cards. As you might know I am a guest DT for the fab Scrap Sanity. With my pack I made a OTP album for Sophie. As I has paper and chipboard left over I decided to make some cards. Here are 2 that I have done.

Here is my mothers day card. The flag was a die from Die-namics and I used my cuttlebug with the die. The chipboard I covered with yellow papper and put flowers around it. The string is from Pink Paislee. The paper is left over from the Sophie Album. You can get most of the products from Scrap Sanity or things that are close to what I used. Loved how this card turned out. Tiff gave me some very fab stuff to work with :)

Bar the flower everything on this card came from Scrap Sanity. Just love this card and its about to go to a new home (daughter has a birthday party tomorrow) I tell you with what you get at Scrap Sanity and with how much you can to get make with it your made not to check it out.

Scrap Sanity Guest DT!!!!!

Ok I am the worlds worst blogger. But with a new baby and a new farm life just been soooo busy. Things have settle down so hopefully will keep up with the blogging.

Now for some scrapping news. At the beginning of the yr Scrap Sanity was looking for DT's and I was picked as a guest DT. You could have knocked me for 6 when I got the email. And for the last 2 weeks I have been busy playing.
When I got my parcel I thought OTP album right away. I had just brought from Sanity an Basic Grey Album to do up for my oldest girl and Tiff Dt pack could not have come at an better time.

Now for some pic's

The cover: I covered each pg with cream card. The word Sophie was cut out from an 12x12 paper, the heart from rub-ons. The flower is from an banner that Tiff had made. The butterfly was from the package that the album came in and used an cuttlebug and die. The key is from Prima. Allproducts (bar the butterfly die) can be brought from Scrap Sanity

I used the same design for the whole book. All products again from Sanity

Love this photo. The words say " What do you mean you want your boots and hat back?" Again all products from Sanity.

I misted the paper using Chicken wire mask. I also misted the chipboard under the words using 2 mists to give it the 2 tone look like the flower. Once again all from Sanity. (There is sooooo many goodies there....why are you still looking here and not at the shop buying????? lol)

Another fav photo. The words say "It was not be Honest". Love love the chipboard from Sanity. There is soooo many thing you can do with them. In this Album I misted, inked, painted and washi taped. And do I need to say where the products came from????? lol

I have a thing for spots at the moment. This paper was one of my fav and found it hard to cut up. Well worth it for my girls album. And where did the products come from??? All together SCRAP SANITY :)

And the last page. the words say "What food? I have not eaten anything".

This Album was a joy to make. Loved doing each and every page. This is just for me but an album like this is easy to make and with Scrap Sanity prices its a cheap gift to make. With the amount of paper left over I can make lots of cards. (In fact I have started making some but that will be for another post)

To Check out Scrap Sanity head to HERE. There is an gallery to show off your work, an forum, challenges each month as well as cyber crops.

Cheers and thanks for looking
