I have done another layout for Scrapbooking savvy Cyber Crop. It is a quote challenge with a slight difference, they is a pic with different sayings and you can choice 1 or as many as you like. I choose DREAM BIG

Here is my layout:

This is my middle daughter when she was around 18months and I took her on a long walk. Now for a few close ups:

I made the background using washi tape, stamps and the Wheat Stencil from A2Z

The A2Z Scraplet 'Dream' It had an s at the end but I cut it off. After gesso it I used Distress Stain and mist on it. The barb wire is also from A2Z, it was a fence but I just cut the wire off. After gesso it  I lightly painted, then painted off black paint. The resin flower and charm are from Handmade Halo

The resin bird was pink so I gesso it en sprayed with mist. The windmill is from A2Z Scraplets and the stencil on the bottom of the photo is part of the wheat stencil.

Here is what the wheat stencil looks like:

123 May Challenge

Well its been a week since posts but what a week. In 2 works 'SICK KIDS' and the loads of washing that comes with it :/

But I have scrapped and its for the 123 challenge blog. I LOVE these challenges. I did the 1st in March but missed April due to a death in the family/school holiday and seeding (what a mix!!!!)

This months challenge is:

Word: HAPPY
Colour: RED
Technique: BALLOONS

And here is my take:

This is my youngest in the Jolly Jumper.  The word 'happy' is in the title, red is the washi tape, title and some flowers and balloons on the right side. All checked.

Hows this rainbow!!! Its a scraplet from A2Z as the base with twine from Scrapbooking In Geraldton and card stock. Loved how this turned out

This has to be my biggest layering of  flowers to date. Slowly getting better

And my balloons, again with twine from Scrapbooking In Geraldton

This was a fun layout and I loved doing it

Now if you want to see who I made that background you need to head over to the Scrapbooking In Geraldton Blog (HERE) and their facebook page (HERE). In the next month or so I will be doing a post on it. Plus other people are doing guest blogs showing different stuff, you don't want to miss out!!!

And lastly if you have done the 123 challenge and need another pretty please to the colour challenge at A2Z (since I set it ) Its blue, yellow, black and white with any shade allowed for blue and yellow. Head HERE for all details.

Scrapbooking Savvy May Sketch Challenge

I have finished another layout!!! And its for a challenge!!! Do I rock this week or what :)

Scrapbooking Savvy has a fab sketch up this month and I decided to give it a go, my first time at any of there monthly challenges.

The sketch is:

And my take:

I have used the Scrapbooking Savvy 'SHE' kit from May with the hexagons overlay from the 'HE' kit. This layout has more pattern paper then I normally use on a layout so for me it is busy. Don't get me wrong I love it, just different to what I normally use.

Now for a few close ups:

With the overlay I gesso it and then lightly painted with Kaisercraft paint. I then cut some paper out and randomly put it under some hexagons. I then placed that over a sheet of pattern paper.

The resin flowers were in the kit as pins. I left the pins on to help stick it under the photo

I NEVER write on my layouts so this was huge for me.

If you want to have a go head HERE for the gallery.

Also don't forget the May A2Z Challenge. Its a colour one: BLUE, YELLOW, BLACK and WHITE. You can use any shades of blue and yellow. Head HERE for more details

Getting Muddy AGAIN

The one thing my kids love more then anything is muddle puddles. Anytime there is puddles about they are in them. And I always have my camera on hand lol

This is a layout of my middle daughter using the 'HE' kit from Scrapbooking Savvy

The kit came with a hexagon overlay which I used as a stencil. I then used a Prima raindrops stencil on top of that (which I brought at the store as well). The Prima and Kaisercraft flowers were from my stash as well as the Flourish With A Bling and the word 'FUN'. I wanted this layout to be as messy as what my girl was. Now for a few close ups:

And a biggggg HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the mothers out there. If you are looking for a challenge don't forget the A2Z one. Head HERE for all the details

Another Christmas Layout

I don't know why but I am loving doing Christmas layouts. Before this yr the most I had done in 6yrs was 2. I have now done 4 in 3 months!!! Talk about being on a roll lol.

This layout is o my youngest girl wearing the dress that her 2 older sisters had worn:

I wanted to use a non Christmas title. After flicking through my A2Z file I came across this title. With a bit of paint and some Flourish With A Bling I have a fab title. But I decided it needed more words and so 'Our Christmas Princess' become the title

Some of the scraplets used are:

I cut the butterflies off to use on another layout

The red bits near the while flower are also from A2Z Scraplets. Head HERE to see all the scraplets and remember you can buy straight from the site.

I used flowers from Prima, Manor House, Scrapbooking In Geraldton and D'Lish. Some more Flourish With A Bling and lots of A2Z Scraplets.

Well I am off to do some more scrapping with some kits I brought from Scrapbooking Savvy. It took me FOREVER to get some as they sell out so quick. If you like kits head HERE for some fab ones.

Don't forget to check out Scrapbooking In Geraldton, its by fav bricks store but they do sell online.

And lastly please have a go at A2Z May Challenge, only 1 has entered and would love to see more. Head HERE or all the details

Using a Flourish stencil to make a SPLASH

After a very busy 2 weeks I am back scrapping YAY!!! I started this for Scrapbooking Savvy Cyber Crop but miss the deadline. I just love how it turned out.

I used the 3 photos of 2 of my girls doing bombers into the pool. The Scraplet 'Splash' was painted using Kaisercraft Paint and micro beads where then glued into the splashes

I also used the A2Z Flourish stencil to make the splashed around the page. To do this I choose part of the flourishes that looked like splashes and with Texture paste I covered that part, then sprayed with glimmer mist. I also used the new Chevron from Charms Creation

Once that was dried I flipped the stencil over and did the same on the other side o the page

I also used Echo Park paper and Flourish With A Bling

Remember that you can buy A2Z Scraplets straight from the website. Head HERE for the website. Also A2Z have a new challenge up. Its a colour one with a fab prize of scraplets up for grabs. Head HERE for all the details, would love to see your take on it!!!
