A little about myself: I am married to a wonderful man and have 2 daughters. I live on a farm in the shire of Morawa where it can get a little toooo hot (45degrees over Christmas thank you very much). But I do love it here.
I am also mad about scrapbooking. Over the last 12 months I have growen with this craft and found soooo much with it, from getting on a design team to Scrapbooking Haven to meeting fab people. Scrapbooking for me is a way to remember the past, share stories and have fun. I love looking at other peoples work, getting ideas, and learning the story that goes with that photo.
I hope that as this site grows that I will learn a little about you as you do about my family and friends
Soooo now for some layouts. 99% of these 2 layouts came from Scrapbooking Haven. I just loved the paper from We R Memory Keepers. The range 'Twirl ' was fun to work with. They were so bright and happy. You could use them for girl and boy layouts as they had a great rang of colours. You can also use them in all kinds of themes.
These are same paper from that range. One of the papers had house on it, great for moving layouts or cards.
Now for the 2 layouts that I have done.
The tree and title came from RW laser cuts. With the tree I inked it with 2 colours and then from the Tatters Angels band I cut the red bits off the ribbon like product and stuck them on the tree. I cut the title in half and inked it
I then got some prima flowers that were bright in colour, put them on top of each other and put a brand through it.
I also put thought a heart die through my cuttlebug.
After matted the photo I stuck everything on the page. The 'remember' that is under the tree is from a kasiercraft stamp. After all that I stapled the blue and green ribbon on.
End result I very bright and fun layout.
This one is of my oldest girl who loves playing dress up by putting all the clothes on!
The glitter paper was just right for these photos. I cut the title from another page and stitched around it. I also stitched around the glitter paper.
I put through my cuttlebug the heart die and the nestabilities label die, which afterwards I cut in half and stitched around it. I put the label die on either side of the photos and put the photos on a angle.
Using prima flowers I put 2 on top of each other and one up in a corner, ripping the paper a bit.
After sticking all of it down I wrote a bit of info in the right label.
I have hope you have enjoyed reading this and please feel free to leave comments
