You Brighten Up My Day-New Realease from A2Z

I am sorry for those who have already seen this but I am sharing today my canvas that I did with one of the new releases from A2Z Scraplets. I will also tell you how I did the background

Here is the canvas (my first EVER)

First for the new release:

'You Brighten Up My Day' was from a quote challenge a little while back that they made into a Scraplet. I gesso it then painted it Yellow with Kaisercraft paint. The butterfly is also from A2Z and comes in a pack of 8.

For the background on the canvas I painted it with gesso first. I then put strips of washi tape (from Scrapbooking In Geraldton) randomly over the canvas including the side. I then painted it with Kasiercraft paint. Once dried I used an October Afternoon Stamp and stamped over the canvas. I did the sides as well.

The Thing that is covered with paper is also from A2Z. I glued the paper (from October Afternoon) on the Scraplet. Once dried with a knife I cut around the Scraplet.

The flowers are Prima, charms from Handmade Halo and Sun And Clouds are Charms Creation.
