Scrap The Girls Challenge layout

Hello everyone. I hope the weekend was fab for you and you got done want you wanted.

Yesterday I scrap a layout in 1 day, something that does not happen in this household with 3 young girls. The layout I did was for Scrap The Girls October Challenge. This month its a recipe challenge. The layout needs to have
  • Flowers
  • 2 Different types of alphas
  • More then 1 photo
  • Stapes

Loved the idea so I did it. Here it is:

This is my youngest daughter on our swing set. The stapes are at the end of the twine, 2 alphas are the red October Afternoons and the tiny aqua, 2 photos of my daughter and do you think there is enough flowers???? LOL

I have used a LOT of Handmade Halo products as I just got a parcel full of a order I did in the September release and just HAD to use them. All the flowers, charms and the tiny wooden flowers near the charm flower are all from Handmade Halo.

Here is some close ups

The big blue flower and yellow flower are handmade creations that Halo does soooo well. They also sell lots of resin flowers. And isn't that a cute toadstool charm??? Need more of that one lol And that glass thingy next to the blue flower come in a kit in the September release. Loved it!!!

This charm also came in a kit (without the peal) Love the layering of it. I put the peal in the middle but you could put anything in it or leave it plain. And the tiny wooden flowers are soooo cute.

And here is another charm and also the new Prima template that I used with black glimmer mist.

This challenge from Scrap the girls was fun and I might even do another layout using the recipe. Head HERE for the site, see all the layouts that the CT have done and the ones that have already been put by people entering.

Head HERE for the Handemade Halo shop, HERE for their facebook page and HERE for all the stuff that people make with it.

Thanks for looking
Belinda
