Hello people!!! Sorry I am been missing in action. Along with the normal life stuff I was busy making to enter the Scrapbooking Creations Design Diva comp. Do I think I have a chance? No. But I do like doing this stuff as it helps me get me thinking and trying new ideas. Once I can will show off what I made. LOVE all that I made. Thinking of framing the 2 layouts and the OTP if just fab and can not wait til Christmas (thats all I am saying lol)
Now I also did this layout to inspire you all to enter the Scrap Everything March Sketch Challenge. With the sketch you can make either a layout OR a card.
Here is my layout:
And a close up:
As you can see I used some A2Z Scraplets (of course) along with Prima paper, Kaisercraft paint and pearls and Handmade Halo Drew Drops
Here is the sketch:
Its a simple sketch but one that can suit any style.
The rules: Must be able to tell its from this sketch and entered my the end of the month on the Scrap Everything Facebook page (HERE) and it will be shared for everyone to see. Also can not be linked with other challenges.
If you need another challenge do not forget the A2Z Scraplets Theme challenge of SUMMER!!! Head HERE for the details. Only 4 has entered so far, would love to see YOUR take
Thanks for looking

Inspiration for the A2Z March Challenge
Well after a week of sick kids, teething and little sleep I finished my inspiration for the March A2Z theme challenge....which is SUMMER. Here is my take:
This is my oldest girl digging for shells on a beach. Not the best photo in the world but I love it. Now I was going for a bright summer feel but it just didn't work. But these colours did.
The close ups:
I just LOVE this fence and went soooo well with a beach theme layout. I used the new Tim Holtzs Distress Paint, the Distress Ink and then a little Glimmer Mist. The Crab I used Viva Inka-Gold, Lava Red. You rub it on the surface. It has a boot polish feel. Both the fence and crab are from A2Z Scraplets.
The title, also from A2Z, came in one piece but I cut it up to put around the photo. I used gesso then painted it with a mix of Kasiercraft paint to get the colour I wanted. You can also see the Micro Seed Beads I used under the crab.
I used a Inkadinkao Beach Theme Stamp set, Kasiercraft Die Cut, shells, Micro Beads and Handmade Halo Key Charm. The template is Crafters Workshop and I used Texture Paste, Kasiercraft Paint and before I lifted it off I sprayed a little Glimmer Mist.
Another Handmade Halo charm and Dolly.
So if you want to enter the challenge all you need to do is a summer theme layout. It can have summer photos or summer colours or both!!! And if you have no A2Z Scraplets you can still enter, but, of course, if you do we would love to see how you use them. The challenge ends on the 31st of March, Queensland, Australian time. We had 13 entries last month would love to see that many again. Head HERE to enter.

A2Z March Challenge and Winner of my Feb prize
Hello, hope this longweeked (in W.A) has been filled with relaxation and crafting. First up the winner of my blog prize for those who entered the A2Z Feb Challenge. And the winner is...........
Yep summer is over for us in Australia so lets remember it with layouts. We are looking for the fab photos that are summer, the beaches, pool, playgrounds, harvest (well I am a farmer lol) and any summer sports. But hey, no photos??? No worries do a layout with summer colours, the blues, yellows and greens or any colour that shouts SUMMER. Or maybe a layout that has both!!!! Its up to you. As long as we can see 'SUMMER' that's fine. And if you have no A2Z scraplets no worries you can still enter. But if you do would love to see how you use them. The challenge ends on the 31th of March at midnight Queensland, Australian time.
Now due to one child keeping me up all night I have not finished my take on the challenge. When it is I will post it.
Head HERE for the A2Z blog. We had 13 people enter last month, lets bet it this month!!!!

Another take on the A2Z Sketch Challenge
Hello scrappers. We are, roughly, half way through the month and have had 7 people enter the A2Z February Sketch. Still loads of time for you to enter. Plus you don't have to use A2Z Scraplets!!! And remember if 10 followers of this blog enter you will have a chance to win a prize back from here!!! 2 chances to win some scraplets!!! 1 follower has entered, 9 more to go.
Here is my new take on the sketch:
As you can see I have used some fab A2Z scraplets
For the title I painted with gesso, then with red paint, then stamped a pirate flag on the word good. Have also used Prima flowers, Handmade Halo charms and resin and Scrapbooking in Geraldton twine.
These Christmas balls come as a set of 4. First I laid them around the page and misted with a shade of green. Then I gessoed, painted and added these fab micro beads that I got from Scrapbooking in Geraldton. Love the beads and can see myself using them heaps!!!
Here you can see some of the misting, and the resin reindeer from Halo
Now for a reminder of what the sketch looks like:
And for the prize pack that could be won from here:

A2Z New Release :D
I can FINALLY show off the new release from A2Z Scraplets. The best part.....you can buy straight from the website!!!!!
First up if the new flourish.
Isn't it fab!!!! I just painted it with 2 green colours. For the butterfly I inked and embossed it then added drew drops on the body part. Added some resin flowers, charms and drew drops from Handmade Halo and have a garden look.
I used a Crafters Workshop with texture paste from Scrap Everything and some glimmer mist for the background, given it a garden/raining look.
Next we have......
The new word 'Living On The Edge' and 'Photo frame'
I had a bit of issues with the title til I found these photos and turned the title into a longer one
I painted the title like Sophie's face, starting with the white, then yellow and last orange. I then used a stencil from my kids stuff for the black lines.
The photo frame I just painted black.
Used a Charm Creation mini runner and Handmade Resin through out the layout.
Next is.....
I have done a no photo layout, ready for later in the yr when we go on holidays.
I painted the chairs aqua, then lightly painted over with white for an age look. I covered the umbrella with 2 different paper and painted the handle like the chairs.
Will that's it for now. Head HERE for the scraplets shop to buy all the new release and have a look at over 1000 over chipboard's
Don't forget the A2Z sketch challenge for this month AND the added bonus of if 10 of my followers enter I will be giving away A2Z Scraplets on by blog for those followers that entered!!!!
Go HERE to the A2Z Blog. I will keep note and write any followers name down and put in the hat. I have ONE already!!! Just 9 more to go :D
