Last layouts for 2013

Hello everyone, did you have a fab Christmas? We did, spent some time with family and friends and eating wayyyyy to much. Because we were away I missed putting up some layouts I did for Mad About Scrappin.

And here we start:

The first up is 2 layouts using the Candy mini theme kit from Echo Park. I also used wood veneers from WOW

2 of my girls enjoying an ice cream with Dad

I used 3 lots of wood veneer on this layout, here are the arrows ones. I gessoed and inked them.

I cut banners from the paper range, drew black pen around them and stuck on the page, I added stickers from the range on the right hand side and twine from D'Lish Scraps. The Flair is also from them/

The hearts are wood veneers that I used for stamps. I inked one heart one and stamped around the page. I then outlined the hearts.

Last wood veneer on this layout is the word 'smile'.

The photos on this one is bad, sorry.

The wood veneers were gessoed and pained red. I then wrote around each one what I loved about my girl.

Button from Purple Pumpkin, the rest from MAS.

Here is a layout I did for MAS Sketch Challenge:

This is my nephew playing on a beach in W.A. Now silly me went away without any scrapbooking stuff....what was a girl to do put play with her mothers stuff!!!

I created the background with Gelatos, mist, stencils, beads and embossing powder. I also used bandage under the photo that I pulled apart.

For some reason this likes being on the side (I have tried to changed it a few times) Instead of using paper, I used ribbon and lace cut to different sizes. Plus I think it made it look more beachy.

Here is the sketch, it was created my Anne Patterson:

Well that's it from me. I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to each of you that have followed me this yr, left comments and been part of my scrappy world. You have been awesome. And a another BIG THANK YOU to the ones that have become friends away from here, its been awesome getting to know you (you know who you are)

Hope to see you in the New Year

Belinda :)

  1. What fun pages...love how you've used those veneers in so many different ways - especially writing around them! Very clever:):) Happy New Year, Belinda:):)
