Growing up

I want to share a layout I did for Mad About Scrappin. It is a ;layout of my middle girl suddenly looking all growen uo

We were just about to head off to the local Christmas Party when I just had to take a few pic's. She was nearly 3 at the time.

Now for a few close ups:

I hand stitched all over the strips of paper

Stunning Manor Creation Vine!!! Just added some pink pearl trim. The twine you see is attached to a card that is hidden. On it I have written about this photo.

The seam binding was awesome to work with (my first time ever). I glued the bit around the photo first. Then I made the bow and glued that on top with a bit of pearl trim.

The paper range I used is Pink Parlee Cottage farm range. Everything bar the stencil is from Mad About Scrappin. Head HERE to their shop. So much awesome products at stunning prices

My 1st layout for Mad About Scrappin'

I am soooooo trilled to show you my first layout for Mad About Scrappin!!!! Its for their monthly challenge that finishes on Sunday. Only one person has entered so PLEASE DO!!!!

A2Z August Challenge

And its a sketch this time!!!! This sketch is based on a layout that I did for the first ever new release that I did for A2Z.

Here is the layout:

Now this had 2 scraplets on it. The title:

After gessoing it I started with white paint in the middle and worked my way out going darker with each colour. Once dried I used a stencil that my kids have for the black lines.

The other scraplet is:

The double frame was just painted black.

The sketch is:

The rules are the same: We must be able to 'see' the sketch but you can change it a bit to suit you. If you don't have scraplet you can still enter but if you do we would love to see them. The challenge finishes on the last day of August at midnight.

On Holidays!!! And my fab news

Yep that's right, I have not blogged as I am away with the family and loving it!!! Just popped in to say I am still here and thanks sooooo very much for the new followers and all the great comments!!! If I have not done so already I will check out your blog if you have one. I will announce a winner soon. Someone has already drawn a winner so check out the Dt's blogs in case its you :)

Now for a layout that I did for the new release:

The new release is the word STUNNING

I have just inked it and embossed in pink embossing powder. The vine is also A2Z that I had cut up. The hear is from Charms Creation and the flowers from Scrapbooking In Geraldton

The heart stencil is from A2Z. I used texture paste (with a bit of pink paint mixed in) After I had lifted the stencil I put some micro beads on the paste.
