Join A2Z January Challenge :)

Here is my take on the challenge

These are special photos as they are of my 3 daughter wearing a Christmas Dress that was given to me by a relation of hubby. Its such a good feeling that all 3 got to wear it and I have put it aside or their kids.

Now for some close ups

I used the Scraplet title 'Magic Of Christmas' but took the 'Of' out as I did not need it and painted the rest with Kasiercraft paint. I also used Cherry Lynn die, Prima flowers and resin, glass leaves, charm and lace from Handmade Halo

The other half of the title, more Prima and Halo with a bit of Charms Creations. You can also see the stamp dots and the Crafters Workshop Template and some texture paste.

Some more A2Z Scraplets. This had a heart in the middle but I cut it out to use on something else.

Feeling Sketchy Challenge

**** For my MASSIVE GIVEAWAY head HERE ****

 

Oh my goodness, I did it!!!!! I did a feeling sketchy sketch!!!! Its on my to do list every week and before I know it the new one is up. Now I did this sketch with a stamp and new pens that I got from Scrap Everything. I have never used pens but I love these!!! They are called TRIA. I was given 5 pens but loved them sooooo much I went back and brought some more.

Now for the sketch and card:




 

 

Now for mine. I really hope you can see the sketch but really understand if it does not make the draw. I change the circle to a another shape and the strips behind the circle I used ribbon, sticking them down with no gaps.

Little Princess

Have you ever come across a layout or person and thought 'I would love to do it that way'???? Well I have been following Erin Blegen and Kelly Foster for a while and their layouts are STUNNING!!!! Full of little details, stunning backgrounds and, well click on their names and check their blogs!!!
So after looking at their layouts and wishing that I could do that I had a go. It is no where near as good as Erin and Kelly but I am so very proud of it!!!!

 

 

This is my oldest girl. I had wanted to use the A2Z Scraplet 'Sophie' that I had done up but I can not find it!!! Grrrrrrrr. Oh well 'little princess' is a nice title :)

 

I had brought some school shirts or my girls and it had tissue paper in them. So I saved them and using Mod Poge glued to a card stock. When that was dried I painted gesso over it and when that dried I used 2 different Glimmer Mist and sprayed all over.

 

While that was drying I got a Handmade Halo Resin Frame and cut in half, painted with gesso and misted with the same glimmer mists that's I used on the tissue paper

 



 

 

This is a close up of the frame. In the frame is Handmade Halo Mulberry flowers and charm. The A2Z Chipboard was painted with gesso then with light blue paint

 



 

 

 

This is the other side of the frame with the same flowers as the top but with a resin word 'love' (also from Halo) and the butterfly is A2Z that was gesso, put some embossing powder on it and painted over it. You can also see the drew drops from Halo that I used.

My title is A2Z Scraplet that was painted with gesso and lightly gone over with a Distress Stain light pink

 



 

 

All these flowers are from halo. I just love the big blue handmade one!!!! The green leaves are from a die. The bit of chipboard that you see under the title was with the butterfly but I cut them off, inked them in 2 different greens and placed under the title

 



 

 

This is a pic of the backgound. I used a template and used texture paste for the 2 butterflies and more drew drops.

Little Miss......

Well its another very hot day up here in the Midwest of Western Australia, a lovely 44 degrees, the kind of temp to go lock yourself in a air con craft room and scrap!!!! And that's what I did :)

 

 

 

 

This is of our youngest daughter at Augusta in March last yr. Being 18months now she is running around the house lol

 

 

 



 

 

 

This is a very simple layout, 1 cute shell charm and lace from Handmade Halo. Love that shell, want more!!!
