It went while I had a very sick household (me included). I Still have 1 girl and a hubby that's not well. It has been yrs since I have been sooo sick. I spend nearly a week in bed, something that is hard to do with 3 young kids!!!
But we are on the mend and I am showing you a layout that I did before I got sick for Scrap Everything
These are photos from this yrs Mullewa Show. The Bouncy Castle was a big hit. I used Fabric paper for the first time on this layout. And loved it!!!! It is something that you should buy (from Scrap Everything of cause) and try. It has a sticky back so no tape is needed, comes in different patterns and you can use it just like normal paper. I did not put many embellishments on it as the photos were very bright and happy I wanted the keep the eyes on them.
Head HERE for Scrap Everything shop, have a look around and you never know what goodies you will find

1st layout for Scrap Everything
Hello this Saturday night. After a long week of having more sick kids I was able to play with my very first DT pack from Scrap Everything. And what a pack it was. I already have made 2 layouts and now am doing up slight words for my oldest with the leftover card (all will be shown in time)
But for the 1st layout......drum roll please.......................................................................................................................................................
.................................................................................................................................................................
The 'BE YOU" was on the back on one of the papers I was given. And the background paper had only one pink heart on it so it just seemed to click together. And this photo of my youngest went well with the whole story.
I was given metal sheets and I was not really happy to begin with. Metal and me don't do well together. But I also brought the Rosette die from the store and was dieing to try it out. After I made the rosette I am now planning on using metal sheets more often. And they can be painted as well!!!! So many thing just come to mind :)
Close up of rosette, flowers and the chipboard heart

A late feeling sketchy sketch
Hello on this 'fine' spring day. We have had over 10mm of rain and its cold. But since I am a farmer as well as a scrapper I will say YAY to the rain lol
Its been a very busy time for us. We went camping last week for 3 days and then spent days catching up on all the washing. Because of this I am 2 days late with last weeks feeling sketch layout sketch. I have not done one for a few weeks and really wanted to get this one done. But I only finished it today. There is a new card sketch up so head over, enter and who knows you could win the big prize.
After spending AGES tiring to upload the sketch I give up!!! Head HERE for the layout sketch and this week card sketch
Here is my take on the sketch
Instead of using 1 photo I used 2 and took out the writing. I don;t normally cluster near a person on a photo but that is where it took me with this one. Used a star from Charms Creations (head HERE for facebook page, she is having a sale TONIGHT), Purple Pumpkin button and Handmade halo lace. Paper is Prima and Kaisercraft, flowers are Kaisercraft, prima, Manor and Scrapbooking In Geraldton, ink is prima and the chipboard is A2Z. The Flourish With A Bling (FWIB) is one that I won!!! I stamped on it with a prima stamp and ink like it was shown HERE. I had soooo fun fun playing with it!!!
Well that's it. Hope to have more to show soon now that life is quite again
