August 123 Challenge

123 has a new challenge this month, the colour GREEN, the word WATCH or WATCHING and need to use TEXTURE PASTE.

The first 2 easy for me, but I have never used texture paste before. So with a deep breathe I went and got some. Then thought 'now what???' So I went for the easy option. I used a template (its a 6x6 one....soooooo buying the 12x12), mixed some lime paint into the paste and spread on. Once dried I lightly paint some black paint with crackle paint. When that was dried I put heavier crackle paint on. Some places where blacker then others so not sure about the over all look but as a first try, methink not bad :)

I have also used Charm Creations mini runner, Echo park paper, October Afternoons paper (cut out butterflies) and letters, A2Z chipboard, embossing powder, prima ink and Bella pearls

Scrap Everything Sketch

Hellloooo on this fine Saturday

Scrap Everything has a Sketch challenge and you have to the 30th of August to enter. I had a hard time with the background cardstock. But after ditching it to the kids, changing the colour, a bit of paint and mist it was done in 10mins. The rest just fell into place. I am not 100% loving it as its really pink but whatever else I put on it did not look right

Soooo here is the sketch

And my take

I have also used some lace and flower from Handmade Halo. I just love their stuff!!!! Soooo much range and their handmade flowers are just to die for!!! I also have used Prima paper and ink, Kaisercraft paper and pearls, Purple Pumpkin Button, Die-namics butterfly die and Stampin'up cardstock.

A2Z Scraplets Challenge

Hellooooooooo

Can not believe its been just over a week since my last post. I have been scrapping but could not show any.

For the big news......I AM IN THE LASTEST SCRAPBOOKING MEMORIES MAG!!!!! Well my layout lol I now have a famous little girl who does not understand she is in a mag and other people will see her photo lol It took 2 and half yrs of getting 'thanks but no thanks' but it paid off. YAY :D

Now for the A2Z challenge and here it is......

And my take......

I have used all the recipe (count 1 of the flowers in the chipboard) The chipboard is from A2Z. The Olive flower and all lace are from Handmade Halo. Have also used template, glimmer mist, kasiercraft paper and paint, prima paper and ink. The pins are from Mad about Scrapbooking.

I will have some more layouts to show soon and some biiigggggggg news :D

Feeling Sketchy layout and Handmade Halo

Its that time that Feeling Sketchy has a layout sketch instead of a card. But fear not, you can do a card if you wish.

As you can see I changed it around a little so hopefully you can still see the sketch.

I have used some wonderful products from Handemade Halo Scrapbooking and Fashion Accessories. I am in LOVE with these. The bottle cap, flowery lace near it, the green lace under the photo, pink flower and the stamped teapot all came from there. Also the tea bag came from there. (flowers and lace was sold as an 'high tea' collection.) As I do not drink tea I decided to use one on this layout. And I just love how it turned out. It is a MUST to check them out.
