Another Feeling Sketchy card and some tractors

Hello again, I have yet another card to show. It seems my oldest daughter is a social butterfly as she has been invited to yet another birthday party this week. Its a bit sad that your 5yr old has a better social life then her mother lol

This is based on this week sketch from Feeling Sketchy, my 3rd take on it. Really loving this sketch :)

I have used Kaszazz and stampin'up stamps, kaisercraft paper and rhinestones, washi tape and ribbon. To colour the girl I used pan pastels.......only the 2nd time I have used them. Pretty bad colouring but hopefully will get better with time.

Now for 2 tractors I did up for gifts

Feeling Sketchy card 2

Hi, just a quick post to show the 2nd card using this weeks feeling sketchy card

Again I used Kaisercraft paper and prima ink. The stamps are imaginisce (robot) and Stampin'up. The notes are Dusty Attic chipboard that I cut from a larger image, inked and embossed silver. I think it turned out ok. have decided boy cards are hard lol

Feeling Sketchy

Hello on this fine sunny day. Feeling Sketchy has its new sketch up for you to try. As I have 4 cards to make this week I have set myself the challenge of making them all with this weeks sketch.

The sketch:

my first card is for my oldest girls 'boyfriend' (they have started planning their married life already lol )

I am not very good with boy cards and I have another one to make (his brothers) Have used the farm range from kaisercraft bar the ink (prima) and stamp (stampin'up)

Also I have made the top 4 from last week challenge

Very shocked as I did not think the card I made was anything flash.

A2Z challenge

Hello again,

I have just finished the latest challenged at A2Z Scraplets. You had to do a layout of something you do as a family.
The biggest thing we do as a family (and something I have loads of photos of) is going to the parks. As parents of young kids there is not a town that we have gone though that we had not stopped at the park. This layout the park is at Mt Maget, a mining town 3hrs from Morawa, around 6hrs from Perth. We went there as a family drive. After we got there we relies we could have driven to Perth. We had lunch, went to the park and drove home, so spent the whole of, at the most, 2hrs. But the kids had a ball at the park and it was simply family time.

Here is the layout

This layout is different to what I normally do, but the colours in the background of the photo screamed to be used. Its a layout you could say inspired by Geogina Keys and Wendy Smith. But instead of using black cardstock I used black ink.
The A2Z chipboard i used is the frame around the photo and the butterflies above the photo. The flags are Dienamics and the butterfly to the left is an cuttlebug die. I used Echo Park paper, October Afternoon and Basic Grey letters, Black Glimmer Mist, Prima Ink, Kaisercraft rhinestones and mis ribbon/lace.

I really like how this turned out, its sooooo different to my normal style and it was not meant to turn out like this, sometimes you just got to go with the flow.

feeling sketchy card

Hi its a new week so feeling sketchy has a new sketch up due Sunday.

Here is the sketch:

Its a sketch that again you can soooo much with. For my take I used the paper I won from their facebook page (products came from The Stamp Spot).

I am really not sure about the deer as I don't normally stamp and colour in thing. I used the pan pastels for the colouring.

For the inside of the card I did.........

The words say 'Hope the sun is shining bright'

Happy to be me-Daring You To Scrap

Daring You To Scrap has a new challenge up.......to scrap a photo of yourself and describe yourself in one work.

Her is my take

My word is Happy, very boring I know but I am. Around the clock the words are 'Happy with my weight, that I found my soulmate, we have 3 daughters and not having more kids. Happy with my scrapbooking style, that this is manly pink a colour I hate.

And that is very true, I don't like pink but as soon as I saw this challenge the word screamed HAPPY and that it needed to be pink.
The base of the layout is a shopping bag (from Scrapbooking in Geraldton) that I cut up and glued on cardstock. Then I used Kaisercraft paint and lightly painted over the top.
The work happy was inked, roughly embossed then painted over the top.

All together I used shopping bag, Kaisercraft paper, paint, tiny letters, chipboard letters, cardstock, clock and pearls, Purple Pumpkin doily and ribbon, Prima ink, October Afternoons letters, washi tape, bird brad, A2z chipboard and staples

Feeling Sketchy card

Soooo as I was about to do my post on the card I made on the sketch by Feeling Sketchy, I headed to their blog and found out I made the top 4 in the last challenge!!!!

As its the first time I entered I was a little shocked that I made the top 4. All the other people did really fab cards/layouts. So Thank you Feeling Sketchy, you made my day :)

I used mostly kaisercraft products. The 'happy birthday' stamp is from Hanna Stamps. Love this sketch and can see myself using it lots

Feeling Sketchy layout and don't forget the GIVEAWAY

Man I am doing well, I have done my 2nd challenge layout from the many that's out there in blog world. Its just something I don't normally do due to kids, but I am slowly finding the time :)

This layout is based on the sketch from Feeling Sketchy ( click here) . I was very lucky to win a prize from their facebook page this week. Not often I win anything so was very happy.(click here for their facebook page)

So here it is

Its not very good photo but as its overcast the best I could do. (fingers cross for rain) The flower stamp I used is one that I just got and been dying to use. I did the black first then the pink making it look bigger. Then I used the same inks for the chipboard around the photo.

Now for something I never do.......here is some close up pic :)
